Situated between the Queyras Regional Nature Reserve and the Ecrins National Park… Ideally located on the shores of the Eygliers reservoir at the foot of the 17th century Mont Dauphin fortress, the Les Iscles Lake Campground is the point of departure for your discovery of the natural beauty and rich history of the Hautes-Alpes region. Elevation 950 meters (3115 feet) and spread out over 8 hectare (19 acres) with 179 pitches of grass and greenery, the Les Iscles Lake Campground is a peaceful, natural setting, conducive to both rest and relaxation as well as all kinds of sporting activities. The campground is close to the best tourism destinations and all the natural wonders in the region.
At the intersection of three valleys, the Les Iscles Lake Campground is your southern Alps base camp. The ideal place to start all your summer adventures in the Queyras, the Ubaye valley, Vallouise, and all the sites around Briançon.
There are many spacious campsites, both in the shade and under the sun, for all kinds of camping enthusiasts whether it is in a tent, a motor home or a caravan. Electricity is available for the entire campground, though for some sites extension cords are required. Some campsites are located directly on the Les Iscles lake and others near the banks of the Durance river which runs just beside the campground.
As for rentals, there is something for everyone at the Les Iscles Lake Campground, whether you are looking for a mobile home, luxury tent or a POD.
Activities
The « Les Iscles Lake » Campground is the ideal base camp for exploring and enjoying the different villages, landscapes and breathtaking panoramas offered by the southern Alps. Satisfying the desires of both sports enthusiasts and vacationers, the region can be discovered by kayak, raft and canoe on the many waterways, or by bike (road and mountain) and of course on foot with numerous trails.
Restaurants
The El Lago restaurant is open to the public for snacks, meals and drinks. A grocery store and bakery is located 30m (90 ft) from the entrance to the campground.

The Les Iscles Lake Campground has a peaceful atmosphere that can really help you unwind, be it through sporting activities or by just taking it easy. It is close to both unforgettable tourist sites and unique natural beauty.
Multi-service campground
The campground is equipped with 4 separate sanitary facilities (each with hot showers), a nursery area, a playground for children, a pétanque terrain, table tennis, a sheltered reading area and laundry machines. Local commerce and bike rental can be found nearby. The charming town of Guillestre is only 8km away.
Going for a Swim
Recreation area and lake. Access is free. There are two sandy beaches with supervised swimming in the summer as well as plenty of grass and shaded areas. Kayaks, pedal boats and Surrey bikes are available for rent. Activities include a Children's park with inflatable slides and games, a treetop adventure course, a trampoline park and a fishing pontoon with access for the handicapped.
